Evasion Festival enters its eighth edition in 2026, returning to **La Plage de l’Atol** within **Grand Parc Miribel Jonage** near Lyon. The 3.5-hectare site features 120 meters of white sand beach, a swimmable lake, dense woodland, and multiple relaxation areas. Located only 20 minutes from the city, the festival offers a natural and spacious setting.

Environmentally Responsible Operations

Evasion’s connection with its surroundings drives a strong environmental approach. The festival limits capacity to 5,000 attendees per day and sources around 80% of suppliers and services locally. It also aims to eliminate artist air travel, remove single-use plastics, and connect fully to the park’s electrical grid instead of using generators.

Additional sustainability measures include:
– Seasonal vegetarian food options
– Free access to drinking water throughout the venue
– Upcycled scenography elements

Programming and Stages

Taking place on **27–28 June 2026**, the festival continues its focus on artistic depth rather than scale. The lineup centers on house and techno across three curated spaces:

– **AURA Stage:** A redesigned layout for 2026, located by the beach.
– **LITUS Stage:** Co-curated with Lyon collective 23:59, featuring a quadraphonic sound system and new lighting developed with Néon.
– **UNDA Stage:** Set in the forest with visual installations by French artist Antoine Tombini, using adapted materials from the previous edition.

Lineup Highlights

The lineup balances gender representation and musical diversity. Featured artists include **Laurine** of Slow Life, Ukrainian DJ **E.lina**, and **Super Venus**, among others from across the French and European underground scenes. An exclusive live collaboration between **Binary Digit** and **Fasme** will debut at the event.

New Stella Camp

A new addition for 2026 is **Stella Camp**, located one kilometer from the main site. The dedicated camping area accommodates up to 500 visitors and offers:
– Late-night stage open until 4:30 a.m.
– Hot showers and hammocks
– Relaxation zone at the forest edge
– Morning yoga and creative workshops

Accessibility and Travel

Lyon is accessible in about two hours by TGV from Paris and 1 hour 40 minutes from Marseille, making travel convenient for national and international visitors.

Outlook

Now a well-established event, Evasion Festival continues to prioritize sustainability, inclusivity, and community engagement. The 2026 edition reinforces its identity as a locally grounded and environmentally conscious gathering.
