Rekordbox CloudDirectPlay, a new firmware upgrade for Pioneer DJ’s CDJ-3000 media player, enables users to play tunes from a cloud-based Dropbox collection.

DJs having a rekordbox Creative or Professional plan and access to CDJ-3000s linked to an internet connection might be less reliant on their storage device thanks to the service. Because many DJs back up their music library to the cloud in case a storage device goes missing, the new protocol allows immediate access to this track collection, replete with metadata for preserved hot cues, loops, and playlists, without the need to download and store files.

In this training video, you’ll learn more about CloudDirectPlay.
