HÖR will continue to operate as an independent brand under the new ownership.
Investment Plans and Business Expansion
99Solutions stated that it will invest in HÖR’s infrastructure. In addition, the company plans to expand several business areas linked to the platform.
Key focus areas include:
– Label services
– Publishing
– Bookings
– Partnerships
Managing director Stefanie Rohn described the acquisition as a “new chapter” for the platform.
Background on HÖR
HÖR was founded in 2019 by Ori Itshaky and Doron Charly Mastey. The platform gained attention for its livestream DJ sets and global audience reach.
However, it has also faced scrutiny in recent years. Controversy around moderation policies and public statements on Israel and Palestine led to artist boycotts. As a result, several sets were removed from the platform.
