Brian Eno’s new Sonos Radio channel features unreleased tracks from his 50-year career

By News No Comments

Brian Eno’s radio channel is called The Lighthouse, and it’s a place where the musician may debut both old and new creations. Eno discusses unpublished recordings and explains why he’s now revealing them in the first of three shows. Program 1 is a section that airs on the subscription Sonos Radio HD service and can also be found on Mixcloud.

So far, 300 recordings have been uploaded to The Lighthouse. The announcement comes only weeks after Eno founded EarthPercent, a climatic change initiative for the music business. Last year, the minimalist pioneer released numerous albums, including Mixing Colours, which he co-wrote with his brother Roger Eno, and Film Music 1976-2020, which he co-wrote with his brother. This August, the Eno brothers will perform live together for the first time.
