You must act quickly since the first production run is limited to only 15 VEGA modules at a low price for delivery by the end of January.

It’s small (6HP) and operates four channels of digital drum tones through an illuminated and hopefully interesting interface. Faselunare has created a two-knob and LED system that allows you to access 12 settings per voice. And the front panel depicts a portion of the Lyra constellation, with Vega as the brightest star.

The four voices can be sampled or synthesized. You may change the oscillator’s frequency from sine to square, ramp, noise, or input a sample from an SD card. Pitch, Pitch Envelope, Cutoff, Filter Envelope, Attack, Release, Q, Low Pass / Band Pass, FM, FM Tune, Volume, and Waveform are then within your control. It has a filter with lowpass and bandpass modes.

You’ll need some practice to master the LED and color combinations that indicate what you’re doing and for which voice, but other than that, you’ve got 4 trigger inputs, 4 huge buttons, and 4 voices – nothing too difficult. There’s also a 5th trigger input that will play a random voice on every pulse, which you can use to muck things up and make unpredictable patterns.

It lacks CV control and internal modulation, but you may save up to 5 settings as presets and recall them on the fly.

If there are any remaining, the first 15 modules are available for a discounted price of €250 + delivery. They want to have them completed by the end of January 2022.
