Introducing Mixcloud Studio, a new feature from Mixcloud! For now, Studio allows artists to stream live directly from their browser, eliminating the need for third-party applications. We want to turn Studio into a strong one-stop-shop for any DJ, producer, or artist that wants to Livestream,” Mixcloud writes.

On its website, Studio announces that it will manage copyright on behalf of its users, as well as providing interactive and engagement features.

For more information on Mixcloud’s reasoning for the change, go here “To use Mixcloud, you have to master both software and hardware before you can ever touch the Mixcloud interface. Everything from sound levels to video settings, as well as file sizes and internet speeds, may (and will) go wrong. Let’s take advantage of every chance to make Mixcloud more user-friendly.”

If you’re a Mixcloud Pro subscriber, you can try out the new Studio function here.
