Synth Patches has released The Peaks, a new sound bank for Novation Peak and Summit customers that includes 128 original sounds influenced by artists such as Boards of Canada and Tycho.
“A good preset should inspire me — when you hear it, you should see a melody or a song in your brain.” At the same time, sound should have its distinct personality and “have a little bit of its own life,” according to sound designer Krzysztof Steplowski. “The Peaks patches are full of dirt and flaws; this is my approach of drawing attention.”
The Peaks is now available for $12.
